Instruments for Science Teaching

Student Meters Model
A sturdy range of panel type meters with clear plastic covers mounted in sheet steel sloping desk stands with a scale length of 89mm, fitted with 4mm sockets having captive terminals. Available in Moving Iron, Moving Coil and Moving Coil Rectifier types with up to three ranges.

A similar range of 5 centre-zero meters are also available for use as Galvanometers each with two sensitivities. A "universal" type is also available for use with the range of BLACK accessories.

"sm" Series Student Meters
A range of meters with a robust moving-coil movement of the centre-core magnet type which is available in sensitivities to 100uA in a Grey High Impact ABS Desk-stand.

Multidial Class Demonstration Instruments
A versatile range of instruments with interchangeable dials in two types; two sensitivities of 10mA or 1mA; the 1mA type available in universal or dedicated styles. The M200 Series was designed for general class demonstration work in both Secondary and Further Education and so the instruments meet the requirements of all current science courses.

The instruments have a scale length of 23cms (9") and a Full Scale Deflection of 100mV DC, and are designed for use with clip-on dials which have the scale printed on both sides to enable the Lecturer to read the instrument from the rear.

Multidial Class Demonstration
Instrument, Series 2 : Model M202
This instrument has a Full Scale Deflection of 10mA making a very robust unit and uses BLACK accessory units to give the required 10mA 100mV Full Scale Deflection.

Similar in construction to Model M202, the Series 2 instrument has a Full Scale Deflection of 1mA and is designed for use with either multirange separate voltage and current units, or extension units and uses our WHITE accessory units to give the required 1mA 100mV F.S.D.
